Palaces, Noble buildings and Museums

A reflection of a splendid past, the oldest consist of a limestone Romanic facade, such as those that can be seen in the neighbourhood of Canonjías, which later give way to Gothic styles (the Palace of Marqués de Quintanar, Conde de Cheste…) and the granite facades of the Renaissance (Palace of Marqués del Arco, Casa de los Picos, Casa del Secretario…). All of them have a porticoed patio as the common element, with the family coat of arms over the columns.
